The filter non-woven fabrics are used as a separation layer between the substrate or aggregate and drainage system. The primary function of these non-woven fabrics is to protect the drainage layer from the ingress of clay particles and other impurities from the bulk material. For greenery and drainage solutions such as Floradrain and Floraset, the SF non-woven fabric is the right choice. TG and PV non-woven filter fabrics are used in roof layers, which contain sharp edges in their structure (e.g. clinker substructure) and under roadways. The non-woven fabrics are applied with an overlap of approx. 200mm.
